Sweet Grandson's First Birthday

 This weekend we celebrated Richie Clyde's first birthday at our house with family friends.

It was a wonderful small party!  And just nice to have Clyde and his momma home with us!  I LOVE this photo of the two of them!!!
 

 Grandpa enjoyed playing wth his grandson....and his grandson's new toys!  :)
Especially the "guitar."

 Lilly was a great helper!  (she was looking forward to having a piece of cake!)
She played with Clyde, handed him the gifts to open, and picked up the garbage.
All without being asked to do it.  What a good kid!!

 Clyde enjoyed opening his gifts!  He loved this football! 

 Clyde truly looked at each card that Christine showed him.  He seemed to
enjoy the cards!

 

But, when all the gifts were opened, what did he play with?

The ribbons!! 

 

 The cake was specially made for us by our dear family friend, Laura! 

 It was amazing!

Thomas the Train!  It was sweet!

 Clyde enjoyed his own cake!  Thanks, Laura for making it all!  

 "Thanks, Aunt Laura!  I really love this cake!!"

Rosie got helped out, too!  She enjoyed cleaning up the cake!
