Jim and I spent a week at the kids in Gold Beach.
They had been down there for about 2 months.
We just wanted to be sure they were ok. lol.
Their house is fixed up real cute.
Tom gets to drive the police car home everyday.
This is their new addition to the family, Asic. (after the shoe) He is a really cute pup. Part black lab, part border collie. Very lovable. Gets along well with Tank, the big , huge lab.
The weather was perfect. Teddy took us out on the Rogue River to try our luck at salmon fishing.
Nary a bite! But it was pretty nice to just sit in the sun in a boat on the water.
Instead of salmon, we caught surf perch. A light tasty fish that was fun to catch from the beach along the Rogue at the bay.
So wonderful to see Tom! He is doing well.
We walked the beach at Cape Sebastian. Very pretty place. Lots of sand dollars to find!
On the way home, we went looking for Griff's in Port Orford. Quite the little place.
Great chowder! Look forward to visiting it again.
The sunset was beautiful from the hill that the kids live on!
