Had a wonderful visit with them. Am very delighted for them both.
This is the boat that Mike proposed to Chris on.
He was a deckhand on the many trips Chris had to do with ODFW.
She was tagging rockfish which meant going out on the water from Newport often and doing some fishing. They hit it off and have been together for over a year and a half.

Look carefully at the pic below. In the center towards the horizon,
you can see 2 white puffs. Whale spouts. It's southern migration time and it was like a freeway in the ocean. Looking out of Chris' picture windows, I don't know how many whale spouts we saw! Made easy with calm sea and sunny weather.
