Moving to Milton Freewater.

It is official.  Christine, Mike, and Richie are moving to Milton Freewater next week!

  

 

 

 

 

 

 

                         The house is at the foothills of the Blue Mtns.  It is a 100+yr old house.
                        It sits on 40 acres with the S. fork of the Walla Walla River flowing on part of it.
                         Yesterday,  Mike , who is over there this week cleaning and painting, saw a herd of elk on    the hilltop  acrossed the road while standing on the front porch.!  Sweet!  There are signs of deer and elk in their yard. 
Mike will start his new job March 5th.  He will be doing something with irrigation ditches working for a private company.  He will be working with fish ladders, water levels, the Umatilla tribe as well as ranchers and of course, ODFW.  Chris will be a stay at home mom for a year with plans of returning to ODFW over there.

There is a living room as well as a parlor!

The house needs a lot of cosmetic work.  They are painting all of the walls white.  Later they will paint it different colors especially in Richie's room.  They are going to get carpet for the main room.  They seem very excited about this move.
